NCYSUR Research Fellow recognised as outstanding researcher by national academy
NCYSUR Research Fellow Dr Tianze Sun has been recognised as one of four outstanding early career researchers in the social sciences with a 2025 Paul Bourke Award by the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia. Tianze was chosen for this award for the impact of her research into youth substance use on public policy, practice, and public understanding. ASSA cited her for her leadership in public submissions, testimony to Parliamentary inquiries, and citations by WHO and other leading international institutes. Tianze is an investigator on an NHMRC Ideas Grant and an MRFF funded project.
