NCETA’s team is growing! We’re excited to welcome several new staff members—and even a new baby—joining our work and community.

Chanvi Singh Dr Chanvi Singh – Research Fellow
C
hanvi is an organisational researcher with expertise in socio-technical systems, organisational culture, and workforce adaptation in complex environments. Prior to joining NCETA, Chanvi worked across university–industry partnerships, corporate advisory, and public sector settings. Her doctoral research explored organisational readiness and workforce preparedness in technologically evolving environments.

Nathan HarrisonNathan Harrison – Research Fellow

Nathan is a behavioural and implementation science researcher, returning to NCETA after submitting his PhD on smoking cessation and lung cancer screening. Nathan has a strong background in tobacco control, alcohol policy, and risk-reducing interventions, having contributed to a range of NCETA’s collaborative projects in AOD. He brings a wealth of experience in research translation for health policy.

Kuni ZhaoDr Kuni Zhao – Research Assistant

Kuni has a research background in social psychology and cross-cultural studies. She recently completed her PhD in Psychology at Flinders University, where her thesis used mixed methods to examine the group‑based motives that drive online shaming. Kuni has a strong interest in understanding the social and cultural contexts of health behaviours, and in supporting behavioural change to enhance the wellbeing of diverse Australian communities.

Savannah KavebergSavannah Kaveberg – Research Assistant

Savannah has recently completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of South Australia, where her Honours thesis focused on measuring cognitive function in people who have had cancer. Savannah has an interest in applied research that informs policy and practice.

Harvey NorrisWelcome Harvey Norris

Christina gave birth to a healthy baby boy Harvey on Adelaide Cup Day weighing 3.59kg and measuring 53cm long. All are doing well.
