Social workers represent the third-largest segment of the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) workforce and play a crucial role in supporting individuals impacted by alcohol and drug use. We are undertaking a national survey of social workers to find out how prepared they feel to support clients impacted by alcohol and other drugs. Findings will inform avenues for future workforce development.
