Successful co-design workshops held with parents and teens around Australia to help discourage parents from supplying alcohol to teens
MRFF co-design workshops
As part of our power of the parents: co-designing health communications to reduce adolescent drinking MRFF, we have held 4 out of 5 co-design workshops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin with the final one to be held in Murray Bridge on 7th April 2025.
This project provides us with the opportunity to reduce adolescent drinking and associated harms by working with parents and adolescents to co-design health communications that empower parents to support their adolescents in making healthy choices regarding alcohol.
We would like to thank all parents, adolescents, and facilitators (listed below) who have been involved in these workshops to date. It has been inspiring to hear from parents and teens on how to shape messaging that discourages parents from supplying alcohol to adolescents.
