NDRI webinars focus on alcohol harm, injecting-related infections
Since introducing a Minimum Unit Price, the Northern Territory has represented a ‘natural experiment’ for alcohol policy researchers. NDRI’s October webinar will focus on the challenges of regulating, reducing and measuring alcohol-related harm in the Northern Territory.
Held on October 16 and hosted by NDRI Alcohol Policy Program Leader Professor Tanya Chikritzhs, the webinar will feature presentations from NDRI Research Fellow Nic Taylor along with Sarah Clifford, from the Menzies School of Health Research, and Stephanie Holmes, from the Association of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies NT.
The presentation follows NDRI’s September webinar, which focused on injecting-related bacterial infections and provided perspectives from expert clinicians and researchers discussing the evidence, clinical management, and a pathway forward for reducing associated harms.
