10th Annual Conference of the International Society for the Study of Drug Policy

The 10th Annual Conference of the International Society for the Study of Drug Policy (ISSDP) will be held in Sydney, Australia on 16-18 May, 2016.

Ice: Frontline Worker Training

NCETA has developed a comprehensive Training Package on crystal methamphetamine. The Ice: Frontline Worker Training Package was released in January 2016. The package was developed as part of the Victorian Government’s Ice Action Plan and is available online free of charge.

Old Habits Die Hard: Alcohol and Cannabis Use Past 50

Alcohol and other drug (AOD) use and related harms among older Australians are increasing as people are living longer and their lifestyles have changed dramatically compared to previous generations. Despite the increasing harms, AOD use and misuse among older Australians are under-researched and cloaked in misconceptions. As such, NCETA initiated a program of research examining patterns of AOD consumption and harm among older Australians.
