NDARC Early Career Networking Event

Running parallel to NDARC’s annual symposium, the inaugural NDARC Early Career Networking Event provides the perfect opportunity for Higher Degree Research (HDR) students and Early Career Researchers (ECR) to chat and network informally with peers and senior researchers in the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector. Invited senior researchers will include a selection of prominent academics from a variety of backgrounds who will share their career experiences and insight.

The Program

The event will have three main components:

  • A 'Minute with a Mentor' session, where participants can ask questions and connect personally in small groups with a senior researcher.
  • A curated panel discussion (live-streamed and in-person) with key senior researchers, who will share insights and advice drawing from their experiences, where audience members can ask questions; and
  • A catered informal networking session.

Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.
